IT for trades
Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical shops in B.C. and across Canada. We run the office, the board, and the devices in the truck — on the systems you already use.
EC Managed IT supports trades from Langley. The shop does not need a second IT company for the field and a third for the office. Dispatch, estimates, job cost, email, and backup are one estate.
A Saturday call still has to land on the board, reach a technician, and turn into an invoice. If ServiceTitan, Jobber, or the mailbox is down, the call is lost. If a laptop walks off a van without device control, the customer list walks with it.
Audience
Who this is for
Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and related field-service shops. One truck or a fleet. Service, install, and membership work. Shops that also work as subcontractors on larger builds.
General contractors and project controls belong on Construction. If you are the subcontractor on a Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud job, that stack is still supported here. This page is the shop.
Operations
What breaks first
- The dispatch board is in the cloud and nobody is watching it after noon on Saturday.
- Quotes live in Accubid or Bluebeam on one workstation with no tested backup.
- Technicians sign into Jobber or Housecall Pro on phones that are not under the same identity as the office.
- Ransomware in the office file share takes the pricebook and the customer list with it.
We treat those as operations problems, not help-desk tickets.
Systems
Systems we support
Keep the platforms you run. We support them on the same identity, backup, and Microsoft 365 estate as the rest of the firm.
Field service and dispatch
The board, scheduling, and the technician app.
ServiceTitan · Jobber · Housecall Pro · ServiceM8 · FieldEdge · Service Fusion · Workiz · GorillaDesk
Estimating and takeoff
Quotes and drawings that cannot live on one desktop.
Trimble Accubid · ConEst · FastEST · QuoteSoft · PlanSwift · Bluebeam Revu
Job cost and accounting
Job cost, memberships, and the invoice.
QuickBooks Online · QuickBooks Desktop · Sage 50 · Sage 100 Contractor · Sage 300 CRE · Foundation Software · Viewpoint Vista · Viewpoint Spectrum · ComputerEase · Knowify
On a general contractor’s project
You remain the subcontractor. These stay supported.
Procore · Buildertrend · Autodesk Construction Cloud
Estate
Office and truck on the same estate
Technicians, CSR, and owners use the same directory. Lost phone means a wiped device, not a guess about what was on it.
- Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access
- Endpoint management and email security, CyberSecure Canada certified
- Backup and restore tested for the line-of-business systems on this page, not only file shares
How we work
How the work is split
Managed IT keeps the estate running. Managed Security owns identity and email. Managed Integration joins QuickBooks or Sage to the field platform when a connector will do. Managed Engineering builds the gap when it will not. Managed AI is available when the shop wants Copilot or other models on that estate — not a chatbot on this website.

Questions
Does EC only serve trades?
No. This is one of ten industry pages. Headquarters is Langley. The same five practices apply in every sector.
Do we have to change ServiceTitan, Jobber, or QuickBooks to work with you?
No. The platforms on this page are systems we support. Keep them.
Are you the same as a construction IT page?
No. Construction is the general contractor and the job-site project stack. Trades is the shop, the truck, and the invoice. Subcontractor access to Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud is covered here.
Do you support shops outside Langley?
Yes. Work is delivered from Langley across B.C. and the rest of Canada. There is no separate trades branch.
