A down Yardi or AppFolio instance is missed rent and a flooded inbox. A compromised mailbox is tenant SIN files and owner statements. A building controller on an unmanaged network is an after-hours lockout. Those are operations failures, not tickets to close on Monday.

What breaks first
- The PMS is in the cloud and the first person who notices an outage is a tenant at the portal.
- Owner packages and lease files live in SharePoint or a mapped drive with sharing that nobody has reviewed.
- Site staff connect to office systems from a lobby PC that is not on the same identity as head office.
- Access control (Genetec, Avigilon, Brivo, PDK) sits on a network that is not monitored with the rest of the estate.
- The brokerage closes in Lone Wolf while accounting sits in Sage or QuickBooks with no tested restore of either.
We treat those as one estate.

Managed Engineering builds the gap when it will not. Managed AI is available when the operator wants Copilot or other models on that estate — not a chatbot on this website.

Do you work with strata and condo boards in B.C.?
Yes. Condo Control, BuildingLink, and the rest of the operations list are supported. Work is delivered from Langley.
